A week ago, Gabe and I were having one of those all around awesome days around town. I didn't think the day could get any better until he suggested we walk over to the music store to look at ukuleles as a kind-of belated birthday present. I was a very happy girl when we walked out with my very own. I've had my eyes on one for awhile ever since I saw our friend Jono play his uke. I'm no where near Jono status yet but I've had fun learning how to play this little baby.

It's not just a ukulele. It's a ukulele played by an adorable girl in an American flag sweater with some kind of amazing hand knitted head scarf item. So much to love.
