{happy thanksgiving}

(I also stole this picture from Christy)  (Thanks Christy!)
 Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!  This is the first year in many years where I will be celebrating Thanksgiving with my family.  Gabe and I spent the last few years with friends in Massachusetts. Here are some pictures from last year's Thanksgiving at Cherry Street.
side note::
 By the end of the night we were circled up in the kitchen playing a rousing game of someone starts singing a word to a song and then the person next to them has to sing the next word and so on and so forth until one person doesn't know the song's next word and subsequently has to drink from a doggy bowl. (I might be a word or two off on the actual title of the game).  I should mention this was near the end of the night for me and Gabe, but everyone else had different plans, but that's for another post, or rather, another blogger who doesn't blush easily.

Whether you're with friends or family or enjoying a quiet holiday alone, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

It was after this night that Christy observed, "When Gabe leaves, the night is about to take a turn." And indeed the thanksgiving dance floor was getting pretty intense as I left. (You'd wisely already gone on.) Tryptophan wasn't doing it's work.

Now, I have no idea how to tell when the party's about to go crazy.

We'll miss y'all tomorrow!

I'm loving your Northampton nostalgia. It reminds me to stop and be grateful for the special moments we all got to share with ye ol'Durhams in the last few years.
